Tax collection
Nowadays there are a number of ways to avoid tax collection. In order to ensure the maximum revenue of tax, a variety of systems are used. They contain crypto modules and device(s) that issue the receipts/invoices.
The system is developed on:
- A server solution with specialized software application;
- A device for issuing the receipts/invoices;
- An external or internal crypto module with crypto card.
When a receipt/invoice is issued, before its completion, the data is encrypted and signed by the crypto module. A barcode is printed along with the transactions. This allows the receipt/invoice to be validated later on by scanning the barcode with a barcode reader. The encrypted and signed data for the sales are also sent to the server. If the receipt is not signed, the server will not get it (or will reject it), therefore, it will be considered as an illegal use of the specific device. In order to detect such devices, lotteries with a barcode printed on each receipt/invoice are made.
